The Diablo Immortal crossplay feature was to be expected with the MMO nature of the game, in comparison to past entries of the series. With the game’s open beta releasing for both smartphones and PC, there is quite a bit to catch up with, including all classes, the places you’ll explore, and everything new in this spin-off from the mainline entries. And of course, it’s better to do it with a group alongside you, regardless of platform. This guide explains how crossplay and cross progression works in Diablo Immortal.

Is There Crossplay in Diablo Immortal?
Yes! Players across PC, as well as Android and iOS devices, can play together without issues. The people you encounter in-game can be from any of the platforms, while in order to connect with someone specific, you’re going to be using Battletags, so it’s all connected from the get-go.
Bear in mind that you can just use a guest account on mobile, but connecting your Battle.net account to it is super useful.
Is There Cross Progression in Diablo Immortal?
Yes! In practice, it works pretty much the same as crossplay. As long as you have a Battle.net account, you can switch back between mobile and PC as you please without restrictions. As long as you’ve used the same account to sign into your smartphone, you’ll be all set.
Now, bear in mind that you need to make sure your Battle.net account is in the same region as to where you downloaded the game from on either the Android or iOS stores. Otherwise, you’re going to encounter a Diablo Immortal issue saying that “the accounts were created in different regions.”
