In Final Fantasy XIV Patch 6.5, a new Mandragora mount was added called the Island Adenium. A flowery flying friend, the Island Adenium is a reward from the Island Sanctuary, just like several other of the Mandragora mounts, such as the Island Onion Prince.
But unlike the Island Onion Prince, the Island Adenium isn’t purchased with Cowries. Instead, there’s a more longer process that needs to be followed. Here’s how to get the Island Adenium Mount in FFXIV.
How to Unlock the Island Adenium Mount in FFXIV
The Island Adenium Mount is purchased for 200 Vegetal Vouchers from the Horrendous Hoarder NPC on your Island Sanctuary (X: 12.6 Y: 28.3). Vegetal Vouchers are a reward given by trading 10 Felicitous Tokens to the Horrendous Hoarder.

Felicitous Tokens themselves are a new currency added in Final Fantasy XIV 6.5. These Tokens are rewarded in exchange for completing task called Felicitous Favors, which require you to construct specific items during your Island Sanctuary Season. Usually, players will construct items during the season that will yield the most Cowries. But if you’re trying to complete Felicitous Favors, you’ll have to focus on these items instead.
Completing one season’s Felicitous Favors can earn you a maximum of 70 Felicitous Tokens. This includes 50 from the various items you’re tasked with, and a further 20 as a completion bonus for completing all tasks.

Since it takes 10 Felicitous Tokens to get a single Vegetal Voucher, you’ll need a total of 2000 Felicitous Tokens to obtain this mount. This makes it a long-term goal you’ll have to achieve over many weeks.
However, the Island Adenium Mount is also tradable and marketable, so you should be able to find it on the market board at some point. Don’t expect it to be cheap though — given the weeks of effort required to obtain it, expect it to sell for millions of gil.
