FFXIV Palaka Mistletoe is a crafting material introduced in Patch 6.2 during Endwalker. It can be acquired in exchange for 20 Allagan Tomestones of Astronomy.
Specifically, players should speak to the Tomestone Exchange NPC in Radz-at-Han: Cihanti (X: 10.8, Y: 10.4). For reference, she’s located in the Western Balshahn Bazaar — to your lefthand side as you enter from the Radz-at-Han Aetheryte Plaza. Speak to her and select the option “Allagan Tomestones of Astronomy (Other)” to see the Palaka Mistletoe available for purchase.
One piece of Palaka Mistletoe is needed — along with a matching Grade 5 Alkahest and one unit of Moonlight Aethersand — to craft the following:
- Grade 7 Tincture of Strength
- Grade 7 Tincture of Dexterity
- Grade 7 Tincture of Vitality
- Grade 7 Tincture of Intelligence
- Grade 7 Tincture of Mind
Note that, like other tinctures and alchemical recipes, this will craft three bottles per successful crafting attempt. Not one, like most other crafts in Final Fantasy XIV.
Each of these Grade 7 Tinctures are also Level 90 master recipes that require the Master Alchemist X tome to first be used on the player intending to craft them. Grade 7 Tinctures are then used as consumable items to very briefly boost a player’s stats (matching whatever type of potion they consumed). This is frequently used in raiding and Extreme trials to pad stats and boost damage or healing.
Assuming the maximum cap of 2,000 Tomestones in players’ inventory at one time, it’s possible to purchase 100 pieces Palaka Mistletoe in one trip. Though there are several other types of Patch 6.2 crafting material also needed for Level 90 gear.
