Unlocking Level Up in Elden Ring
In order to level up in Elden Ring, you have to meet a specific NPC, Milina, who will accompany you on your journey through the Lands Between. To find Milina, you have to go to one of two Grace sites where you’ll first encounter her as you rest at the Grace site.
These Grace sites are Gatefront and Agheel Lake North. There, Melina will give you an offer. In order to unlock leveling up, you have to accept her offer.
Once you have done so, you will have the option to level up at any Grace site you rest at. The more you level up, the more Runes you will need as you progress through the game, making each fight that bit riskier as you collect more and more runes at once before finally turning them in.
