The latest reprised Raid added to Destiny 2 brings an updated pool of Legendary weapons. One is the adaptive frame Arc machine gun, Song of Ir Yut, which fires 450 rounds per minute. While its fire rate may hold it back from being best in the slot, it has an exciting perk pool that should make it fun to use in any level of content. So, what is the god roll?
How to Get Song of Ir Yut in Destiny 2
To get Song of Ir Yut, you must head into the Crota’s End raid. The machine gun has a chance to drop from the first encounter, Enter the Abyss, and the third encounter, Ir Yut, the Deathsinger. Once the weapon has been unlocked in your Collections, any secret chests you open within the raid have a chance to drop the weapon. Song of Ir Yut is also craftable, so you can either farm the raid for red-border weapons or burn through all of your Deepsight Harmonizers to get it unlocked at the Enclave.

- Arrowhead Brake
- Extended Mag
- Reconstruction
- Target Lock
The combination of Reconstruction and Target Lock allows you to hold down the trigger when taking in a tanky foe and increase your damage for as long as possible. While the Extended Mag reduces the speed that Target Lock builds stacks, it should allow for more shots at the highest tier of damage increase with Reconstruction refilling your magazine. The Arrowhead Brake should help keep your shots on target for as many critical hits as possible per mag.

- Ricochet Rounds
- Zen Moment
- Target Lock
Increasing the Song of Ir Yut range will help you win more PVP duels with machine guns' lethality, allowing for greater damage at longer ranges than other weapons. Ricochet Rounds gives a slight range boost, allowing your shots to wound targets before they enter line of sight. While Target Lock now only does 25% bonus damage in PVP, it is still a powerful perk that can help deal with players using their Supers or protected by overshields.
