Emblems are the first impression you leave on a Guardian besides your name. Some emblems are common enough that new Light players can easily get them with minimal effort while others are so rare that only a scant number of players in Destiny have it. They’re a status symbol along with being a pretty cosmetic item. We’ve had many rare emblems over the years, and now, we’re taking a look at 12 of the rarest Destiny 2 emblems to have ever existed.
Where This Data Comes From
This list is based on data from Charlemagne. Their tools measure global analytics for Destiny 2 including all guardians across all platforms. Only those who have turned on progression privacy are excluded, meaning this data represents 99.85% of the Destiny 2 population. The rarity numbers we’re using are the Global Rarity which means it’s taking into account every guardian. (Whereas the Adjusted Rarity only includes guardians with ten hours of playtime).
Disclaimers
Before we get into the list, we do want to emphasize the fact that this list will not include any emblems that can be earned from purchases at Bungie, except emblems put up for Bungie Foundation. We will, however, be including emblems that can no longer be earned such as those from the previous fashion contests and movie contests.
12. Binary Cascade - 0.002%
Binary Cascade was an emblem given away by Content Creators in December 2022. This emblem is gorgeous and sports an art-forward design with shapes that seem like pixelated dots and dashes, representing binary numbers one and zero respectively.

11. The Consensus - 0.001%
The Consensus was exclusive to French video game retailer, Micromania. Players could only obtain this emblem by participating in a promotion that involved buying Destiny 2 from Micromania by using a code from someone who had already bought Destiny from Micromania. Doing so would award both people the emblem and this promotion ran for a very limited time. The Consensus sports a clean, triangular logo with colors matching the hues of burgundy and maroon. As of this writing, less than 600 people own this emblem.

10. Metagalactic Bloom - 0.001%
Metagalactic Bloom was one of Bungie’s fundraising emblems gifted to members of the community who helped raise funds during each Game2Give event between 2020 and 2022. This emblem's logo seems to represent a planet orbiting a star, evoking solar system vibes. This is apt considering its name Metagalactic Bloom but the rest of the emblem displays shapes associated with game development, for example, the boxes and symbols are similar to the ones you’d see in a game engine.

9. Outside the Lines - 0.000%
Outside the Lines was awarded to artists who won Art of the Week starting in Season of the Haunted, until the end of Season of the Deep. Every week, artists had a chance to have their art featured in the This Week in Destiny blog, and each featured artist would get this emblem. It has geometric shapes and dotted grid patterns.

8. 24 FPS - 0.000%
24 FPS was the latest emblem — in a series of emblems — meant to award those in the community who had their work featured in the weekly Movie of the Week section of TWID. Its design represents film, with its logo looking like an old-school VHS tape. The text on the emblem is reminiscent of a barcode you’d see on a case of film, and even the colors give a vintage feel.

7. Belle Èpoque - 0.000%
Belle Èpoque is the latest emblem awarded to those who have their work featured in Art of the Week, replacing Outside the Lines in Season of the Witch. Belle Èpoque is a loud expression of space exploration and its bold shades of blue and orange pop in harmony with the geometric art. Honestly, the logo feels like it's the brand of a spaceship.

6. The Hidden Edge - 0.000%
This emblem was exclusively given out to Bungie Forum Ninjas in Destiny 2’s Year 4. It’s called The Hidden Edge and only about 20 people have this emblem. It sports a sleek design with different shades of black dictating the background and a white ninja star forming in the negative space created by the black background. It looks minimalistic.

5. Nyctophobia - 0.000%
This emblem is another exclusive from the Bungie Forums, and in this case, it was awarded to Bungie Forum Mentors in Year 4 of Destiny 2. Only 37 people are known to own this emblem, making it truly rare. Its design is reminiscent of a badge and its overall design looks like it was a uniform. If an emblem could represent authority, it would be this one.

4. Felis Galaxias - 0.000%
Felis Galaxias is meant for players with immaculate fashion. Bungie announced this emblem in a This Week in Destiny blog from last year, where it said that this emblem would be given out to those with an eye for fashion. However, only 13 people in the community have this emblem. The art of this purple-ish emblem is reminiscent of the galactic cats that can be found in the Dreaming City in Season of the Wish.

3. Wish Ascended - 0.000%
Wish Ascended was the day-one raid emblem for the Last Wish raid. Day-one raid emblems are given to those who complete a brand-new raid on Contest difficulty within the first 24 hours, and now 48 hours since the Root of Nightmares raid. Last Wish notoriously had one of the hardest experiences where only two teams finished the raid in time to claim this beautiful piece of art. Its art features the same style you would see in Dreaming City architecture along with the logo that shows a fireteam of six spaceships.

2. Humanity’s Chosen - 0.000%
Humanity’s Chosen is one of the rarest Destiny 2 emblems with only three recorded Guardians ever owning that emblem. It was introduced in a This Week at Bungie blog on Bungie Day back in 2022 and was meant to celebrate kindness in the Destiny community, no matter how big or small the gesture. Bungie stated that it only had a few of emblems to give out at the time.

1. Echo Diamond - 0.000%
Echo Diamond is the rarest emblem in Destiny 2 because it was added in Season 13, but there was no clear way to obtain it. According to Destiny Emblem Collector, this emblem is not currently available. Only one person in the entire Destiny player base has Echo Diamond, and it is a mystery as to how it was earned. The emblem is red and black with a logo that looks like a loading screen, which fades with every symbol being omitted from it in the longer version of the emblem. It almost looks sinister and dangerous!
