Animal Crossing: New Horizons Leaf Egg Guide - Best Recipes to Craft With Leaf Eggs

Not sure what to do with all of those Animal Crossing: New Horizons eggs? Bunny day has brought the unpleasant addition of Zipper with his sabotaging egg antics. That said, if he’s going to give us a ton of eggs, we might as well put them to good use, right? With this Animal Crossing Leaf Egg Guide, we’ll highlight the best things to build with your tree-gotten gains.

As a reminder, you get Leaf Eggs from trees and they’ll appear as fruit. Nothing better than biting into a fresh apple only to get the crunch of an egg!

Worst Animal Crossing Leaf Egg Recipes

Most of the Bunny Day item recipes use Leaf Eggs. Let’s start by highlighting the ones you should never make unless you actually want the item.

  • Bunny Day Vanity (4x Leaf Eggs)

Unsurprisingly, all of the recipes which use a decent number of a singular egg type are bad investments. Lots of more valuable items use a combination of eggs meaning you can make far more than you’d otherwise be able to.

  • Bunny Day Merry Balloons (Earth Egg, Leaf Egg, Sky Egg)

While this recipe uses a smaller number of ingredients, it’s also not as valuable as other items and will only provide 600 Bells profit.

Assuming you have an exactly equal number of all egg types, these are the items you should focus on crafting. While there are variations between how many items you can make, their crafting cost, and value, they all come out equally when it comes to profit. If you want a personalized list of what the most profitable thing for you to make, check out this Google Doc created by Kristi Anderson.

  • Bunny Day Bed (Earth Egg, Stone Egg, Leaf Egg, Wood Egg, Sky Egg, Water Egg)
  • Bunny Day Glowy Garland (Earth Egg, Stone Egg, Leaf Egg, Wood Egg, Sky Egg, Water Egg)
  • Bunny Day Flooring (2x of Earth Egg, Stone Egg, Leaf Egg, Wood Egg, Sky Egg, Water Egg)
  • Bunny Day Wall (2x of Earth Egg, Stone Egg, Leaf Egg, Wood Egg, Sky Egg, Water Egg)
  • Bunny Day Fence (Earth Egg, Stone Egg, Leaf Egg, Wood Egg, Sky Egg, Water Egg)
  • Bunny Day Wreath (Earth Egg, Stone Egg, Leaf Egg, Wood Egg, Sky Egg, Water Egg)
  • Bunny Day Rug (Earth Egg, Stone Egg, Leaf Egg, Wood Egg, Sky Egg, Water Egg)
  • Bunny Day Bag (Earth Egg, Stone Egg, Leaf Egg, Wood Egg, Sky Egg, Water Egg)
  • Bunny Day Crown (Earth Egg, Stone Egg, Leaf Egg, Wood Egg, Sky Egg, Water Egg)

All of the above recipes will net you a profit of 1,200 Bells each. That includes the flooring and walls which do take double the eggs, but make double the profit. So while it looks like you earn more with those, it’s functionally the same as making and selling two beds.

If you’ve been holding onto your resources, you’d better get crafting fast! Bunny Day comes to a close after April 12 when Zipper finally gets to crawl out of that suit and stop stalking everyone.
